EMA and FDF are deligh ted to announce the inaugural EMA Awards Europe & FDF Sustainable Financial Forum that will be held in 2018. Over two days we will bring an exciting programme of keynotes, breakout and discussion sessions to inspire the development and advancement of sustainable financial system.
The second day will conclude with glamorous EMA Awards Europe ceremony.
This year marks the 27th Anniversary of the EMA Awards! Since 1991, the EMA Awards have been the premiere (and only) awards program solely devoted to celebrating the entertainment industry’s creative environmental efforts. A pioneer in linking the power of celebrity to environmental awareness, it was the Environmental Media Association (EMA) who invented the “green carpet,” has been a launching pad for iconic green innovations (like the Toyota Prius) and landmark environmental films (Inconvenient Truth, Food Inc.) and showcased the most cutting edge brands, chefs and artists dedicated to sustainable living and pushing forward green messages.
EMA Awards Europe will promote films, television and all media using creativity and voices to educate the public on today’s most important issues and tomorrow’s solutions. We believe the best way to change minds, create solutions for the future and inspire the next generation is by honouring trailblazers for their tireless work.
Previous EMA Award recipients include: Sir Richard Branson, Matt Damon, Blythe Danner, Rosario Dawson, Vice President Al Gore, Don Henley, Bill McKibbon, Elon Musk, Willie Nelson, National Geographic, Gwyneth Paltrow, Dr. Enric Sala, Jeff Skoll, Justin Timberlake and Ted Turner.
